Hours are flexible regarding start and end times with the following options;
7:00-4:00
7:30-4:30
8:00-5:00
1 hour lunch.
Essential duties:
- Create detailed schematics that are utilized in the manufacturing of products
- The detailed drawings can specify dimensions, materials, and production procedures for products
- Design drawings using computer-aided design and drafting (Solid Works, CAD) software
- Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers
- Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques
- Become familiar with the overall foundry process
- Work with inside sales, customers, and sales reps on new design projects
- Prepare drawings for customer requests if necessary
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

- Must have 3 years CAD experience or technical/associates degree with no experience
- Solid Modeling classes or experience in any 3D /Design Software preferably SolidWorks
- Must be able to use measuring tools
- Have a good understanding of engineering principles
