As a Scores Reporter Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our activities. This position involves a diverse range of tasks including the recruitment and onboarding of Scores Reporters, maintaining company standards, managing event coverage schedules and targets, and managing network-related reimbursements.
- Lead and innovate in the recruitment process for new global Scores Reporters networks, identifying and attracting suitable applicants.
- Conduct comprehensive training and mentoring for Scores Reporters, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement new recruitment and training processes to enhance the Scores Reporters' efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and resolve outstanding issues, maintaining daily communication within your responsible networks.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports and presentations/proposals, ensuring timely and informative updates to management.
- Solid experience in managing live data or similar roles within a technology-driven environment.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
- Confidence in making decisions and managing multiple tasks against tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working cohesively with various teams.
- We require candidates to have flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holiday shifts, as the college football and basketball schedules and game duration determine.
- Demonstrate punctuality and regular attendance to training sessions and work shifts.
- Collaborates and communicates well within a team, contributing to group goals and projects.
- This is not a remote position. Reliable private or public transportation to the downtown Chicago office is required.
- Adaptability to swiftly changing environments and the ability to remain poised under pressure.
- English skills (written and spoken) and computer proficiency are required. Candidates must be able to sit for up to four or more hours at a time.
- Experience with college sports statistics and software.
- A background in sports management, computer science or a related field.
- Understanding of best practice processes and methodologies in live data management.
- Previous experience training a team in a manager or supervisor role.
- Working knowledge of Office 365 products, VoIP platforms, and scheduling software.
