**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients improve their quality of life through therapeutic interventions.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to enhance patients' physical and mental well-being
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients care staff and their families on techniques for improving daily living skills
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience working in clinical settings, preferably with a focus on individuals with neurological/developmental disabilities.
- DD Waiver Experience.
- Strong understanding of physiology and its application to occupational therapy
- Ability to work effectively in both community and residential settings
- Prior experience working with DD waiver is a plus
