We are seeking applicants for part-time and full-time positions (10-35 hrs/week). We are seeking candidates with availability to work between the hours of 8:00 am - 7:30 pm.
Job Summary:
RBT/BTs provide one-to-one therapy in-home and/or community settings to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorders, as well as other developmental or behavioral disorders. The RBT/BT's primary responsibility is to implement effective behavioral interventions and treatment plans in addition to recording behavior data developed by their supervising BCBA.
Locations:
Moreno Valley, San Bernardino, Highland, Yucaipa, Fontana, Colton, Riverside, and surrounding areas.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct intervention to members in-home and/or community
- Implement an individualized behavior plan and interventions designed by the Supervisor
- Participate in the implementation of baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions
- Provide social skills training, and generalization of skills into the home and/or community settings
- Encourage members in communication and appropriate social interactions
- Track progress and behaviors by collecting and recording data during every session
- Utilize Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBIs)
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies including, incidental learning, and functional communication training under the direction of a Supervisor
- Assist in parent training, (teaching parents how to increase their child's communication, analyze behavior, and generalize skills).
- Regularly report outcomes to the Supervisor
- Adhere to all company policies and codes of conduct
- Participate in ongoing training.
- Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, modified, or changed at any time at Shine Bright Network discretion.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or working towards a Bachelor's degree or;
- High School diploma with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Candidates without a Bachelor's degree or RBT certification must be willing to obtain an RBT Certificate
- Knowledge of Behavior Modification principles and experience in NDBI, ABA, and Verbal Behavior is preferred
- Livescan Fingerprinting (FBI/DOJ) Clearance
- Negative TB Test Results
- Valid California Driver's License
- Reliable transportation & auto insurance required
- Work a flexible schedule which includes traveling (driving a personal vehicle)
- Be able to stand, sit twist, kneel, bend-over, crouch down, and sit/play on the floor for extended periods of time as well as lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs without assistance from another adult
