Certified Medication Aide positions available.
At this time we are looking for Resident Assistants to join our Assisted Living team.
New Graduates are welcome!
Duties:
- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed orders and protocols
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Document medication administration and patient responses accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure proper medication management and coordination of care
- Assist with phlebotomy procedures as needed
- Accurately perform and record vital signs, height and weight.
- Accurately calculate and record weight gain/loss and fluid intake/output.
- Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor.
- Perform routine care rounds on each assigned resident, at minimum, every two hours (or more frequently as indicated).
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Medication Aide certification
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of special needs populations and their unique medication requirements
- Familiarity with phlebotomy procedures and techniques
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Epic or Cerner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration and documentation
- Ability to work in an acute care environment with multiple patients and tasks

Pay: $18.44 - $22.00 per hour
