Responsibilities:
· Primarily responsible for the analytical inspection of components according to the Inspection/Repair manual.
· Identification of parts using the Illustrated Parts Catalog and Service Bulletins.
· Responsible for maintaining equipment related to the department.
· Read and comply with work instructions.
· Perform non-destructive testing.
· Work independently of others, as well as teams, while completing task on time.
· Ability to use precision measuring tools to accomplish tasks (Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Gauges, etc).
· Understand and practice safety while being efficient and productive.
· Immediately report to the department lead any issues that arise.
· Perform other duties as assigned by any supervisor.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma/GED minimum.
- Aviation Experience highly preferred.
· Must pass eye exam (Corrective lenses are ok, but must be worn at work).
· Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience preferred OR possess a strong aptitude for acquiring new mechanical skills and knowledge.
· Ability to locate, read and follow the technical data appropriate for the assigned task.
· Must be able to read, write and understand English fluently.
· Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
