JOB TITLE: Business Associate (Customer Service) – Home Care/Pharmacy
CONTRACT DURATION: 13 Weeks
SHIFT: (5 Days, 8 Hours): 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PST, M-F
LOCATION: San Diego, CA
ONBOARDING TIME: Expect 3-5 weeks from offer acceptance to start date.

· Copy of diploma for highest level of completed education.
Copy of Covid Vaccine
· Two manger/supervisor references who you have worked with in the last year (Name, Company, Phone Number, Email Address)
· Upcoming RTO for the duration of the contract. (June 2024 – September 2024)
· Interview availability for the next 7-10 days.
· Resume with last seven years of work history - all work history gaps of 90+ days must be explained.
DETAILS ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position is responsible for administrative & clerical support of the homecare pharmacy department. These functions include oversight of the fax queue, faxing, & scanning; maintaining records of daily home visits, scheduling, confirming clinical information; generating reports as required, processing charges, & filing documents appropriately. This position provides support to other Business Associates & Administrative Associates, as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
- H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting utilizing computer programs. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Meditech, EPIC, and/or other healthcare related programs.
- Experience with medical terminology
- Experience with multiple phone lines (*Call center experience highly important)
- Experience with multifunctional devices for copying, scanning, and faxing
- Knowledge of call queue, medical supplies and pharmacy delivery scheduling
- *Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred
- Previous home health, home infusion pharmacy experience preferred
