Job Description:
Define Pilates is looking for experienced, fully certified Pilates Instructors to teach both privates and small group Reformer classes for 6 clients. Instructors should be fully certified and experienced in working with bodies of all levels, ages, and abilities, including women in prenatal and postnatal stages of pregnancy, and individuals in need of rehab and post-rehab support. The right candidate will be able to accommodate part-time or full-time position hours. Our studio emphasizes a supportive collaborative environment for our instructors and clients. We are a boutique Pilates Studio that focuses on reformer classes. We have a fast-paced style that encourages creativity, while still being extremely safe and accommodating for different levels or injured students.
Qualifications & Skills
- Pilates Apparatus Certification required, and/or have completed a Pilates teacher training with a minimum of 400 hours
- Experience teaching a variety of clients
- Must be willing to build and retain a business
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills
- Must be willing to work at least 2 shifts per week or 10 hours a week

Responsibilities
- The Pilates Instructor is responsible for providing various Pilates training services (utilizing apparatus such as a reformer, towers, chairs, and mat) that offers members programs to maximize workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, enjoy their fitness experience and improve overall sense of well-being
- Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive Pilates training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals
- Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use of the equipment
- Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
- Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
- Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s goal
- Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
