Pay Range:
- $29.86/hr - $54.58/hr
- Note: This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position. Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for initiating, planning, executing, and controlling large complex enterprise projects. The role involves organizing work into a manageable plan, securing Executive Staff approval for project scope, budget, schedule, and plan, assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, developing the project schedule, and controlling the execution of the project to meet planned business objectives within budgetary and schedule limitations. The Project Manager will communicate with senior management and/or functional area management regarding project status and may direct the activities of one or more project managers and project leads to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage mission-critical, complex projects (and/or programs) to deliver results within the authorized budget and on the approved time schedule.
- Control the defined scope of work as required to deliver results.
- Develop objective measures for evaluating project effectiveness.
- Manage projects across a broad range of project specialty areas.
- Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Manage all cross-functional aspects of the project to create the defined deliverables within the authorized budget and on the approved time schedule.
- Create, implement, and manage project plans, business requirement documents, communication plans, test plans, and other project documents.
- Delegate and manage tasks of other functional core team members. Resolve project resource issues such as performance problems or availability problems.
- Provide leadership to clear barriers to team progress, promote the company's good, resolve conflicts within and outside the team, and ensure project goals and staff assignments are realistic and achievable.
- Drive teams towards excellence in analysis and decision-making.
- Meet quality standards and produce expected deliverables during all project life cycle phases: initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.
- Direct the assembly of project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Communicate regularly with functional Managers, Project Management Steering Committee Members, Executive Sponsor, and other project stakeholders regarding the project's status, issues impeding progress, earned value, and recovery plans for off-track items/tasks.
- Maintain project control books and logs.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions and issue closing reports.

Education:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree

Schedule Notes:
- The ideal candidate should be highly organized, have the ability to multitask, schedule meetings, manage calendars, liaise with multiple stakeholders, and interact with C-Suite level and agency heads, including the governor’s and mayor’s office. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, meeting management (WebEx preferred), PowerPoint presentations, Excel, and Word is required. The ability to be diplomatic and maintain confidentiality is a must.
