Position Summary:
The guest experience is very important to us, and the Server Assistant position is key to honoring that commitment. We are searching for career-minded hospitality professionals with exceptional drive and desire to serve. As a Server Assistant at Credence, you are the connection between our guests and our front of the house team by anticipating guests’ needs and assisting the Captain and Server positions. You understand the fine balance of service and help provide exceptional hospitality to our guests in a timely, courteous, efficient, organized, and accurate manner. The Server Assistant will also be responsible for managing our facilities, keeping all areas of the restaurant clean and exceeding health department standards. Our Server Assistants serve as brand ambassadors, aligned with our passionate commitment to exceptional service and superb hospitality. They are polite and friendly to guests, and colleagues alike. They understand the importance of and embrace The LG Brand’s high standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness as their own.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains high knowledge regarding company's service standards and food and beverage offerings alike.

Executes all shift cleaning duties and side work

Polishes glassware and silverware to Credence standards

Delivers tabletop items in a timely and professional manner

Greets guests when approaching table and accurately delivers items at the request of the Captain or Server

Communicates any relevant messages to servers and/or managers regarding guests' requests/needs

Sets up and breaks down workstation in accordance with department procedures and standards

Maintains adequate par levels of condiments, garnishes, and other related items.

Preps condiments as needed Ensures workstation is always organized and clean

Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned

Complies with uniform standards
Qualifications:

High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred
-
Previous experience in fine dining restaurants preferred

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
-
Passion for culinary arts and hospitality

Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed

Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor

Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices

Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
