Responsibilities:
- Perform financial analysis and review of client records
- Utilize accounting software to analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting
- Conduct audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits
- Prepare workpapers and documentation to support audit findings
- Participate in client meetings and provide recommendations for improvement
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Previous experience in public accounting or financial services preferred
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Knowledge of GAAS and regulatory reporting requirements
- Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
