Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll/HR clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, human resources, and accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
-Do pre-employment background checks and pull MVR records
-Do employee onboarding thru Netchex and Employee Navigator
-Manage insurance enrollments and terminations
-Remit 401k deductions to the TPA, update hours in TPA system and track vesting
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of payroll and human resources procedures and regulations
- Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping principles
- Proficient in data entry, analysis, and reporting
- Experience with Dealertrack DMS system is a plus
