Palisades Behavioral Health is currently expanding its service footprint, and we are eagerly seeking to add skilled and motivated Therapists and a Clinical Director to our team of professionals in our Alpharetta office location.
As a Clinical Director, you will operate as a Senior Leader with our organization and aid us in fulfilling our mission of helping people Heal, Grow, and Thrive!
More specifically, in addition to directly providing direct clinical services such as individual and family therapy sessions, the Clinical Director is responsible for helping lead our newly opened outpatient counseling practice.
The Clinical Director is also responsible for hiring, training, and supervising Clinicians, and ensuring that our services meet our high-quality standards. Further, the Clinical Director is responsible for participating in company growth and expansion initiatives including enhancing existing services and identification of new product and service offerings.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to clinical team and other office professionals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide evidence-based therapy to clients using various modalities (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy)
- Collaborate with clients to set goals and monitor progress throughout the therapeutic process
- Offer crisis intervention and support during times of acute distress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals involved in the client's treatment
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of mental health
Experience:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Current licensure as a Clinical Therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches
- Experience managing complex cases and providing crisis intervention
- Familiarity with medical management and healthcare management principles
Additional Requirements:
- Unrestricted (fully licensed) and unincumbered license to practice counseling in the state of Georgia and at least two years of clinical experience preferred.
- This role requires the candidate to be eligible for and receive service credentials from our medical insurance partners Aetna, BlueCross/Blue Shield, Cigna, and United Healthcare. Our team will facilitate this credentialing process.

This is a 1099/contract position which is initially expected to provide leadership and clinical therapy to clients in the daytime and/or evening hours on a part time or full-time basis. However, in the near future, we do anticipate that the role will transition into regular full-time employment with a traditional work schedule, including remote and hybrid options.
