API-Business Apps .NET Developer II (ABT Team)
About the Role
As an .NET Developer on our API-Business Apps (ABT) Team, you will help design and build ways to extend CobbleStone’s contract management software to other webservices and applications. This role will be part of the ABT team and will work closely with System Analysts and stakeholders. You will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems and implementing solutions that will support and enhance the functionality of our premier software solution.
Qualifications
Candidates without the requisite ASP.NET/C#, REST API, and SQL experience will not be considered.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing REST APIs
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience using ASP.NET/C# including working with SQL triggers, stored procedures
- At least 2 years’ experience with JavaScript including TypeScript and React
- Must have a good understanding of OAUTH2, Caching, Future calls
- Must have experience writing/creating documentation for APIs, building applications with MVC, Swagger, Dependency Injection, Multithreading
- Solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging skills
Preferred
- Experience integrating webservices (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Salesforce, Amazon, etc.)
- Nice to have familiarity with NHibernate or EntityFramework.
- Nice to have familiarity with Microsoft Identity
- Application Development work in Agile Scrum
Responsibilities
- Be able to take new development requests for REST API or Business Application Integrations and estimate, plan, develop, test, and check in on time and with minimal rework
- Diagnose, identify, and resolve escalated support tickets in a timely manner and within expectations set by CobbleStone’s policies and procedures
- Ensure that deployed software is scalable and reliable
- Ability to interpret system / business requirements and prepare specification with analysts for user stories and provide estimates of work
- Familiar with modern technology and architecture (cloud, virtualization, object stores, etc.), as well as with SDLC tools and agile development methodology
- Willing and capable to communicate with team members and developers to design well thought out project strategies
- Ensure effective collaboration and own communication/accountability throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment for their assignments
- Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully
- Interact directly with clients, managers and end users as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements
- Provide system administration of internal API and support customer-facing API, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow

· In-depth understanding of CobbleStone products and features as required by your specific role.

· Work with CobbleStone team members, where necessary, to recommend solutions that support the company mission and goals.
· Take direction from management, directors, superiors, and others and provide advice in a professional manner.

· When asked: assist and/or lead the mentoring of other staff.
· Understand your roles, job duties and metrics.
· Perform general office duties inclusive of answering phones, emails, meetings, and other related job duties.
· Retain strict confidentiality obligations of company policies and those if its clients; inclusive of not participating in, responding to surveys/questions, or posting company/client/vendor/employee or non-public information on social media sites or other public sources.
· Maintain compliance with PTO and time-off policies, security policies, and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and client contract obligations; strive to schedule all time-off in advance and coordinate with manager and Human Resources.
· Be reliable, professional, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
· Assist with meeting Companies goal of client revenue growth, client retention, profitability goals.
· May require overnight travel for multiple days
· May require travel, both in the US and International (can be overnight for multiple days)
· May require long period of time at a computer
· May require long walks, stairs, standing, both onsite and on travel
· May require lifting or traveling with items up to 50 lbs.
· Adhere to company policies and procedures.
· Assist with other duties assigned as required to achieve company’s mission
Write and maintain thorough documentation for the effective use of features, improvements, and fixes for training, compliance, and customer service purposes
Miscellaneous:
Must have excellent English communication skills.
Must be able to legally work in the United States, must pass background, criminal, and drug testing.
