Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our company's daily operations and ensure smooth functioning. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and leadership skills.
Duties:
- Responsible for working closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the company are being properly executed in accordance with regulatory based best practices.
- Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and review important strategies and operational policies and procedures for company growth and inventory losses.
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
- Work with the management team to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
- Provide inspired leadership for the company and help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Conduct staff performance reviews and motivating staff.
- Responsible for ensuring that each employee has the resources they need to complete their job by managing inventory, transportation, budgeting and hiring procedures.
- Oversee accounting, bank processes and money handling, monitor the financial data and recommend solutions to improve profitability.
- Forecast requirements by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Manage market initiatives and maximize business performance to reach the customer and company goals.
- Assist Human Resources department with recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees when necessary.
- Act as a liaison between employees and the management team.
- Any additional duties as assigned by the management.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or related field.
- Two or more years of proven work experience in an operations management role.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Solid understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
- Outstanding communication, leadership, motivational, and organizational skills
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, customers, and employees.
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
- Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
- Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
