Senior Superintendent/ Project Manager Ford Custom Classic Homes - Franklin, TN
Ford Custom Classic Homes, also known as Mike Ford Builders, is a locally owned and operated homebuilder that has been building in Williamson County since 1995. We build over 100 semi-custom homes a year within the most affluent communities of Franklin, Brentwood and surround areas. We are in search of a construction manager experienced in custom homebuilding . We have a Warranty department, an in-house Architectural department, a Purchasing department and a Design department that ensures our builders have the information they need when they need it enabling them to concentrate on building homes. This role will be managing multiple custom and/or semi-custom homes at one time within the same community and ensuring Ford Custom Classic Homes standards of quality are met. Top salary with commensurate experience.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of custom home building experience.
- Be highly organized and able to manage multiple homes at any given time. Home sizes range by community and vary from 2800 sq ft single homes to multi-million dollar custom homes. Organization is key to manage change orders and home buyers while keeping homes on schedule.
- 2 years of college; Degree Preferred . Ford Custom Homes is a well-established company and expects its staff to be professional. We expect our builders to be able to converse effectively with trades and suppliers but as well as with buyers of price points from $700k to $2million.
Position responsibilities include:
- Managing daily activities of homes under construction from initial buyer meeting through completion.
- Establish and maintain relationships with county and city government officials, homeowners, sales team, contractors and vendors.
- Ensure quality control, materials management, ordering and scheduling of suppliers and subcontractors.
- Follow Ford’s processes and written schedules.
- Meetings with sales staff, home owners, office staff and city and govt. officials.
- Conducting home buyer walks and meetings.
- Maintain the safety of your job site by monitoring sub-contractors behavior and professionalism.
- Participate in continuing education training as provided.
