Responsibilities:
- Greet seated guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with menu recommendations and answer questions about the menu
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Monitor guest needs and promptly respond to requests or concerns
- Ensure tables are properly set up with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments
- Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining
- Help sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining area surfaces regularly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and order accuracy
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food service regulations and safety standards is a plus
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is an advantage
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
