Position Overview:
As the Skilled Nursing Regional Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care and operational efficiency across multiple facilities. You will provide strategic leadership, guidance, and support to our facility administrators, fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will be instrumental in driving performance, optimizing resources, and enhancing the overall quality of care delivered to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to facility administrators in all aspects of operations, including clinical care, financial management, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.
- Collaborate with facility leadership to develop and implement operational initiatives aimed at improving quality of care, optimizing resource utilization, and achieving organizational goals.
- Conduct regular assessments of facility performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to address gaps and drive results.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities, and implement policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and accountability among facility staff, promoting employee engagement, retention, and development.
- Serve as a liaison between facility leadership and corporate stakeholders, facilitating communication, sharing best practices, and driving alignment with organizational objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging best practices, and regulatory changes, and provide guidance and support to facility leadership to ensure readiness and adaptability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare leadership, with a focus on skilled nursing operations.
- Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, financial performance, and regulatory compliance within a multi-facility environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, reimbursement mechanisms, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues, develop actionable plans, and drive implementation.
