Job Responsibilities:
System Configuration and Maintenance:
- Install, configure, and maintain Esko software applications such as ArtPro, Automation Engine, etc.
- Manage server environments and ensure compatibility with Esko/Phoenix software requirements.
- Work with IT to perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to Esko/Phoenix applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Esko/Phoenix software users.
- Conduct user training sessions to enhance the skills and proficiency of employees in utilizing Esko/Phoenix tools effectively.
- Develop user documentation and best practices guidelines for Esko applications.
Workflow Optimization:
- Analyze existing workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement workflow automation solutions using Esko Automation Engine.
- Customize workflows and implement scripts to automate routine tasks within Esko/Phoenix software.
Integration and Collaboration:
- Help integrate Esko/Phoenix software with other systems and third-party applications as needed.
- Work closely with IT teams and external vendors to resolve integration issues and ensure seamless data exchange.
- Collaborate with estimating/planning, packaging designers, prepress operators, and production teams to align Esko/Phoenix software functionalities with business requirements.
Vendor Management:
- Engage with Esko/Phoenix software vendors to escalate technical issues and obtain support as necessary.
- Evaluate new Esko/Phoenix software releases and provide recommendations for upgrades based on business needs and system compatibility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in administering Esko/Phoenix software solutions in a production environment.
- Knowledge of estimating/planning, packaging design, prepress workflows, and print production processes.
- Proficiency in server administration and database management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, VBScript) and automation tools is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Working knowledge of both Phoenix and Esko software solutions and workflow automation.
- Fluent in Creative Cloud and Windows software.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Adaptability to changing technology and business needs.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sitting for prolonged periods.
- Ability to visually inspect all work for defects.
- Manual dexterity for repetitive work.
The national pay range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000/year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
