GENERAL FUNCTION:
Supports purchasing and materials staff through performance of general clerical duties. Maintains office files and records.

Prepares purchase orders and invoices.
Maintains files and data base regarding records of materials, prices, inventories and deliveries.
Communicates with vendors and plant personnel regarding status of purchase orders, quotations, and shipments as directed by supervisor.
Provides general office services as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of office procedures, with emphasis on purchasing or accounting functions.
Working knowledge of computer applications.
Ability to operate common office equipment.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
High school diploma, GED or 2 - 4 years equivalent job training/experience.
