Job Summary:
Responsible for performing varying tasks at the job location they are overseeing. A Lead will adhere to safety regulations and maintain high standards of efficiency and productivity in their work. This is a crucial role that contributes to the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse or distribution center. Responsibilities may differ from job description depending on the location of the assignment.
Position Details:
- 1st shift
- 6am-2:30pm
- Monday-Friday
- Weekends and OT as needed (up to 12 hours)

Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining adequate employees, equipment and supplies for the scheduled hours of operation at each location.
- Upholding company policies as well as holding employees to company policy standards.
- Assisting with the management of daily operational needs.
- Delivers results by leveraging the skills of all employees and applying to adequate department.
- Facilitate feedback from customers and employees to management and executive teams.
- Liaison with team leaders and management to learn department needs and goals.
- Must be able to identify problem areas and propose ways to improve.
- Meets all company specified KPI’s and complies with Quality system requirements and holds others to the same standard.
- Assist in the training and coaching of employees.
- Ensure shipment plans and arrangements are followed through.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Maintain accurate records of product inventory, unloaded/loaded container count, damaged inventory.
- Look into customer complaints.
- Effectively communicate to employees’ the operational goals, daily goals/task and expectations.
- Observe client needs/patterns and manage inventory based on these needs.
- Manage the loading of trucks, setting up delivery routes and unloading of materials.
- Perform daily audit on all received freight.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and quality control.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members and management to ensure efficient workflow and prioritize tasks.
- Promote safety, security and company standards to all employees.
- Must be able to report to different warehouse locations if and when needed.
- Other tasks assigned.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience (standup, sit down and reach).
- RF Scanner and WMS (Warehouse Managing System) experience needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office( Excel, Word, Outlook), must be able to communicate via email to customers.
- 2 years minimum in related experience in Logistics and leadership role.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform the required duties, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 80 pounds on a regular basis.
- Physical stamina and endurance to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity, if necessary.
- Ability to hear and understand audible signals and instructions in a noisy environment.
- Good vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision, to safely maneuver the forklift and navigate through the facility.
- Exposure to loud noises and vibration.
- Clear verbal and nonverbal communication abilities to follow instructions, collaborate with team members, and report any safety concerns promptly.
- Ability to maneuver within confined spaces, climb ladders, work on elevated platforms, and maintain balance while walking on uneven surfaces.
- Manual Dexterity for safely handling, manipulating, and controlling various sizes of items, packages, and machinery.
