THERAPIST
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision and direction of the Clinical Director will provide treatment in an outpatient Mental Health Program. Supervision provided by Licensed Clinicians; Hours can count toward licensure.
SCHEDULE:
- Part-Time with potential for full-time
- 9 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (3 days per week)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Facilitate on-site group therapy following curriculum to a diverse population of adolescents and adults
- Conduct Intake mental health assessments and implement treatment plans
- Provide one-on-one individual and family sessions within the program
- Maintain and update clinical records; write progress notes
- Report based on Mandated Reporting Laws any child or dependent adult abuse
- Provide case management and/or crisis intervention
- Engage in prescribed clinical supervision and staff training and meeting as required
- May be assigned additional duties by their supervisor as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree completed from an accredited school in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Mental Health Counseling
- Valid Associate license by the BBS.
- Valid malpractice insurance
- Must have excellent engagement, interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to utilize proper judgment and work independently
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Physical Activity – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
- Working Hazards or Risks – potential for musculoskeletal injuries related to moving and working with files and office equipment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
