Palletizer Operator coworkers efficiently, effectively and safely operate palletizer machinery and related downstream equipment and troubleshoot problems as needed. Palletizer Operators also perform visual quality inspections to ensure high quality finished products.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
-
Operate all palletizers and dunnage conveyor and troubleshoot machine issues.
-
Complete adjustments to the machinery to accommodate product changes.
-
Perform visual quality control checks and complete quality check sheets.
-
Communicate bottle quality and defect issues to appropriate team members and notify when nearing or reaching end of production run.
-
Understand operation of downstream equipment and processes.
-
Locate and clear jams on the floor and in the overhead conveyor lines.
-
Communicate machinery and equipment problems to Shift Lead and Maintenance Personnel in a timely and accurate manner.
-
Maintain a safe and clean work area in accordance with Company standards/housekeeping requirements and accurately complete the housekeeping check sheets.

Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift.
-
Covers vacations and other absences according to Kenosha local attendance policy.
-
Required to use safety equipment and wear personal protective equipment to perform job duties.
-
Accepts and performs other duties/changes to position as plant and production needs require.

Wears and uses appropriate PPE and safety equipment as required to perform job duties.
