Job Summary:
As the General Sales Manager at Tony Serra Highland Nissan in Highland, Michigan, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales department at our dealership. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive base salary plus commission structure in the auto industry. This role is a management position and requires strong leadership skills and experience in sales management.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation for this role is between $100,000 to $200,000 per year, paid weekly. In addition to the base salary, you will have the opportunity to earn commission based on sales performance. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement sales strategies: You will be responsible for creating and executing sales strategies that align with the dealership's overall goals and objectives. This includes setting sales targets, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for growth.
2. Manage sales team: You will oversee a team of sales professionals and provide guidance and support to help them meet their individual sales goals. This includes coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
3. Monitor sales performance: You will track and analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and make adjustments to strategies and processes as needed.
4. Foster customer relationships: As a leader in the sales department, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty to the dealership.
5. Ensure compliance: You will ensure that the sales team follows all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
6. Collaborate with other departments: You will work closely with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and service, to ensure seamless operations and a positive customer experience.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
2. 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the auto industry.
3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
5. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
6. Knowledge of sales techniques and principles.
7. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
8. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
