The Position:
The CEO of Rule29 will lead the company in its mission to innovate within the design and creative industry while maintaining our commitment to the client experience. This role requires a unique blend of creativity, leadership, and strategic thinking to push the boundaries of what a creative agency can achieve.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the strategic direction of the company, ensuring alignment with our core values and business goals.
- Serve as the primary driver of business development with past, current, and future clients; nurturing existing relationships and “playing offense” to capture new opportunities.
- Lead and inspire the team to foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence.
- Oversee company operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
- Develop and implement high-level strategies, make major corporate decisions, and manage the overall operations and resources of a company.
- Engage with clients, media, and other stakeholders to strengthen our brand and market presence.
- Monitor and drive the agency's financial performance, including revenue growth and profitability.
- Foster a culture that reflects the organization's values, encourages good performance, and rewards productivity.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success as an entrepreneur, solopreneur, or equivalent with the ability to wear many hats and execute at a high level.
- Proven experience in sales.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning, networking, and business development.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and written communication skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- A passion for creativity, design, and innovation in business.
- A willingness to jump in the trenches and lead by example.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
