Shift Supervisors are trained to perform all the duties performed by the Team Members, with additional responsibility for coordinating the daily operations of a restaurant in the Regional Manager's absence, ensuring, at the Regional Manager’s direction, compliance with BGR standards in all areas of operation including: product preparation and delivery, guest relations, restaurant maintenance, team oversight, inventory management, and other duties as required or assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary responsibility includes performing all Team Member tasks in the following positions: prep, build, grill, fries, drinks & cashier.
- Responsible for daily operations of the restaurant in the absence of the Regional Manager including: training employees, opening and closing the store, ensuring all food preparation is complete, coordinating employee breaks and shift changes, and completing shift summary reports.
- Motivates and coaches Team Members and assists in the training of new hires.
- Excels in performing all Team Member tasks in the following positions: prep, build, grill, fries, drinks & cashier.
- Works as a team player to support other employees in completing their tasks.
- May assist Regional Manager in day-to-day operations with tasks including scheduling, ordering, and team development.
- Ensures that the OSHA, local health and safety codes, and BGR safety and security policies are followed.
- Maintains fast, accurate and outstanding service, ensures an excellent guest experience, and makes sure all menu items are consistent with BGR standards.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
