Responsibilities:
Customer Assistance: Greet customers and assist them in finding products that suit their needs; Provide detailed information about the features and benefits of products.
Sales and Customer Service: Demonstrate the use and benefits of eBikes to customers; Handle sales transactions, including processing payments and issuing receipts; Address customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest product developments, features, and pricing; Learn about competitors' products and services to better assist customers.
Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels and notify management of low stock or new product requirements; Assist in restocking shelves and organizing product displays.
Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing; Set up promotional displays and ensure signage is accurate and up-to-date.
Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the store; Participate in sales training and development programs to improve performance.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business; Collect customer feedback and provide insights to improve products and services.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate sales records and prepare reports as required by management; Handle any necessary paperwork related to sales and customer transactions.
Your Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field is often preferred; Experience with eBikes, bicycles, or related products can be an advantage.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor; Ability to understand and convey product information effectively; Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and sales calculations; Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints professionally.
Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the store; Ability to lift and carry merchandise, often up to 50 pounds.
Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for processing transactions and using inventory management systems; Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is often required.
Personal Attributes: High level of motivation and a positive attitude; Dependability and punctuality; Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Sales Skills: Persuasive and confident in selling products; Ability to meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals.
Product Knowledge: Willingness to learn and stay updated on product features, benefits, and industry trends; Ability to provide customers with accurate and helpful information about products.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
