JOB
The Academic and Career Advisor facilitates academic plan development, career advising, registration assistance, and academic strategy cultivation with an assigned caseload of newly admitted students, students in their fist semester of enrollment, and continuing students aimed at student success, persistence, retention, progression, and completion. The position maintains thirty (30) hours of advising availability per week, participates in on-going training provided by the Center and assigned academic department(s), facilitates early interventions, and regularly uses available technologies to ensure accurate and effective advising. Midlands Technical College is dedicated to providing excellent service to its students, employees, and the community. This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus
