From goods and services to contract employees, SAIF relies heavily on external partnerships to ensure we have the right tools to do our work.
We are seeking a new manager to lead our procurement team and design, implement, and oversee the vendor management program at SAIF. In this role, you will create a blueprint for SAIF’s indirect procurement processes to source and engage with vendors that keep our day-to-day operations running.
You’ll guide a team of procurement coordinators and further an inclusive, collaborative, and empowering environment. You’ll coach the team in the RFP process, oversee the drafting and analysis of contracts, and manage the purchase order process. While you’ll need contract management experience, you’ll be overseeing a well-established, strong procurement team.
Additionally, you will collaborate with internal partners to deploy a vendor management program. To be successful, you’ll need experience in leadership, skills in strategy and communication, and a strong understanding of client-vendor relationships.
But more than extensive experience in vendor management, the most important qualities are curiosity and eagerness to learn, research, and grow into the role. We’re seeking someone with vision, drive, and the ability to take us in new directions.
If you’d like to help advance the vendor and procurement programs at SAIF and ensure that the organization is equipped with the products and partners to accomplish our mission, apply today.
Please note: Flexible workers may be required to travel to SAIF’s offices in Salem on occasion.
