Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Avionics/Electrical Integrations Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of avionics electrical systems in aircraft. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and customers, to ensure the successful implementation and integration of electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Generate aviation avionics electrical systems wiring diagrams, system schematics, and drawings using AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, and SolidWorks
- Develop electrical load reports for aircraft systems
- Fabricate wire harness assemblies, coax connections, and electrical component assemblies, adhering to engineering specifications and quality standards
- Provide onsite support for avionics installation and/or aircraft integration activities as required, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop manufacturing process specifications for avionics/electrical systems
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and all engineering disciplines to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the integration process
- Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies related to avionics/electrical systems integration
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Solid experience in generating aviation avionics electrical systems wiring diagrams, system schematics, and drawings using AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, and SolidWorks
- Proficient in the fabrication of wire harness assemblies and electrical component assemblies
- Familiarity with aviation industry standards, regulations, and certification requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Experience with coordinating and collaborating with vendors, customers, and multiple engineering disciplines
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing process specifications and best practices
- Experience with avionics installation and aircraft integration is a plus
