We are and will continue to be hiring for 3-4 person teams of automation technicians to work on fulfilment/logistic centers across the United States. These will be the first hires in the US for an international contractor client of ours with a great opportunity to grow into leadership roles. 47+ sites per year from coast to coast with all flights/rental trucks/logistics/rental houses, etc handled by the client.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair automated machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to optimize automation processes
- Monitor and control automated systems to ensure efficient operation
- Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation (E I) systems
- Experience in customer service and problem-solving
- Familiarity with hydraulics and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to maintain, detect, and repair high voltage equipment
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and safety procedures
- Understanding of distributed control systems (DCS) and CNC technology
