Job Title: IT Support and Database Specialist II
Supervisor’s Title: Director of Information Technology
Role location: Bellevue will be your home campus but travel is necessary as duties are spread across the 4 Kindering campuses (Bellevue, Bothell, Redmond, Renton)
Purpose
To assist with on-site management of systems and network maintenance schedules, provide technical support to staff, perform administrative, and clerical duties for the IT department and the agency.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and takes steps to remedy problem(s), refer more complex problems for escalation to subject matter experts.

Provide user and technical support for all devices (Windows OS desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, iPads, etc.), remote access, Office365 and EMR database system.
- Setup, repair, and maintain workstation computers and related equipment. (Setup new users, maintain security, software, and hardware updates, etc.)

Provides on-site support, equipment and technical services for staff and organization events. (Audio/Visual, Computer, Network, POS, etc.)

Use and maintain helpdesk ticketing system to track issues, KPI’s, and maintain knowledge base (SharePoint).

Collaborate with IT team daily and work as a team to provide support across all locations.

Work with IT Support Specialist(s) to create, review and update technical how-to’s.

Train staff in equipment and software use.
- Manage system maintenance schedules.

Manage printer supplies and repair requests.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of server rooms and IT areas.
- Maintain logs/database for tracking all IT equipment.

Special Projects as assigned by Director of IT / Information Systems Manager.

Preferred Skills: Intermediate skill level in Systems Administration/Windows Server, SQL Queries/Database Administration, WordPress Administration.

Other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, preferably in related field.

Intermediate-Advanced skill level - Windows 10/11 Operating System.

Intermediate-Advanced skill level Office365/Teams/MS Access and SharePoint.

Intermediate-Advanced understanding of computer networks (LAN, WAN, and computer networking).

Intermediate-Advanced understanding of Database Administration and SQL Queries.

Demonstrate professional interpersonal skills in writing, over the phone, and in person.

Customer Service Orientation.
Minimum Prerequisites

Pass Washington State DSHS criminal history and background check and FBI fingerprint check.
-
Possess a valid Washington State driver’s license and valid automobile insurance.
-
Have access to a dependable personal vehicle.
-
Willingness to commute between 4 sites.
-
Demonstrate skill with Microsoft Office Suite.
-
Be able to lift 40 pounds.
-
Have or obtain COVID and MMR vaccinations prior to employment.
-
Pass tuberculosis test.
