POSITION: Residential Aide, Non-Exempt, Hourly
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or possess a GED; possess the ability to work as a team player, and enjoy the work at S.A.F.E.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to pass a criminal background check and the Child Abuse Registry process; possess a professional attitude and behavior; Must be able to provide own transportation to and from work, and must enjoy the work and mission of S.A.F.E., Inc.
SUPERVISION: Supervised by the Shelter Director or designated immediate supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer the telephone, document crisis calls, complete crisis forms, provide support to callers and make appropriate referrals;
- Document intake and exit;
- Transport clients and their children;.
- Document current information in client records and secure files;
- Maintain intake office and staff bathroom during shift;
- Work with staff on shelter needs;
- Handle routine problems and/or emergencies which may arise on scheduled shift;
- Assist clients in complying with shelter guidelines;
- Maintain records for food referral agencies;
- Submit any requested reports to Shelter Manager;
- Other duties as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE: As Needed - PRN Pool
SALARY: Dependent on Experience and Education
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
