Job Description
The Account Executive will be key in acquiring new business from Real Estate agents. They will serve as the primary acquisition arm of the company, responsible for the creation of new business relationships and acting as a facilitator through the first business deal with new clients. Success in this role will require strong interpersonal relationship skills, persuasive skills, and the ability to close a deal. Active listening, empathy, strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. The Account Executive will be the crucial leader in sharing the company’s mission, vision and values with top prospects in the industry.
Each week the Account Executive will attend a number of meetings with new prospects to form new business relationships. They will be responsible for driving the growth of business in conjunction with their team. Following their meetings with new leads, the Account Executive will be responsible for all follow-up activity through the sales funnel until the deal is won. Account Executive will have monthly goals to reach set forward by the company. This position has an evolving territory that changes on a regular basis depending on where, geographically, the business sees the greatest area of opportunity.
Primary Objectives
- Implement and manage all systems and growth strategies for the Sales Division that promotes a relationship centered culture in both the community and workplace.
- Held accountable to Company & Division goals.
- Provide feedback and solutions to the systems development team as needed.
- Actively participate in developing and maintaining a budget for the Sales Division to include office supplies, events, sponsorships, etc.
- Ability to perform all job duties of the Growth Division, if needed.
Regular Work Activities
- Establishing new business relationships with prospects through 1:1 meetings.
- Implementation of relationship & follow up touchpoint systems developed including phone calls, personal note cards, emails, Social Media etc.
- Work directly with Account Manager to ensure efficiency and results are being met.
- Identify and establish high level relationships with agencies, agent teams, and other connectors within the industry both in person and digitally.
- Develop close and lasting relationships within the community, within the team, and online.
Management Responsibilities
- Weekly meetings with focus on accountability and individual action items. (Level 10 Meetings)
- Regular reporting of activities and results on a weekly basis with their leader and team.
- Guide and help hold accountable the Account Manager supporting them.
