JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems, and processes and develop quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and evaluate product integrity and standards.
Sample procedures and designs and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
Write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
Specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application.
Process audits weekly and investigate top 3 issues monthly.
Investigate/document RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action).
Document corrective action plans.
Implement corrective action with team.
Monitor corrective action implementation for sustainability.
Review operations process.
Update and document current and future work instructions.
Perform internal Audits per the audit schedule.
Review ISO 9001:2015 document / schedule a 30-minute meeting with the managers (send emails to owners to ensure they have reviewed their documents)
Update due dates in SharePoint.
Review QMS documentation in SharePoint and update accordingly.
Schedule time with QM to do an annual review of QMS ISO 9001:2015 SharePoint documentation.
Document quality issues that are Supplier Quality Related in excel.
Inspect Supplier Quality for Internal or External opportunities.
Record all serial numbers of issues that have impacted our quality (for example: torque checks).
Document when we begin our containment in our nonconforming tool and list all serial numbers that have been impacted by the check in the AQE database.
Document all nonconformances.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associates & Bachelor's degree in engineering.
2-4 years’ experience.
Receive AQE training.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Quality Management System
ISO 9001:2015
Electrical Knowledge
Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Experience Documenting processes.
Responsible for promptly responding to internal quality, as delivered quality, and supplier quality issues reported by the customer.
Efficient in Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables).
