Communications Officer 1 - Hybrid Role
3 Months contract
Location Plainsboro NJ USA 08536

Strong Communications
Event Planning experience
In office 2-3 days per week, remote 1-2 days
Tasks:
- Manage calendar for Head of HR
- Manage any travel arrangements for Head of HR
- Project management support for Head of HR
- Manage vendor program (schedule vendors, enter facilities work order requests, submit visitors to facilities, communicate with vendors, be on-site to meet with and set up vendors, create communications flyers for email and intranet, email communications out to Plainsboro employees, post news story on intranet, add to intranet calendar)
- Draft communications as needed for Plainsboro and/or North America employees and send out
- Review any communications from other business areas and distribute; draft if needed
- For all communications, manage review process with Head of HR and any other leaders as necessary
- Manage news content and calendar of events and any other content for Plainsboro intranet and North America intranet
- Book meetings for HR and Engagement as needed – scheduling meetings, booking rooms, ordering catering, creating agendas, attending meetings and taking notes
- Manage executive visits to Plainsboro site – travel arrangements (car service), hotels, office space, meetings, etc.
- Execute any events in Plainsboro as needed
- Manage all incoming newsletter additions for President’s weekly newsletter; collecting articles, reviewing and editing as necessary, and providing to President in one document on Thursday afternoon
- Assist with any intern events as needed
- Manage any Estee Lauder gift bag program management; send communications out to employees, intranet communications, distribute bags.
- Assist with any non-profit related events
- Assist with any L&D events and communications as needed
Responsibilities:
Employee communications and events and project management support – basically one on one communications to employees
For executive support – working with head of HR operations, calendars, travel arrangements
Managing the vendor programs – vendors will sell the products like candles/ or some items to the employess.. so basically scheduling the meeting arrangement for vendors onsite
Managing the Plainsboro intranet content management – like news/ events etc – some experience in CMS
Education – BS is preferred, but not required, as they prefer more experience
Internal communications – heavy on this
Project management – 20-30%
Executive support – not much – 10%
