Dogtra Company is a leader in the manufacturing, distributing and merchandising of the highest quality electronic products for over 35 years. The Customer Service Department is looking for an energetic, conscientious and detail-oriented individual who enjoys making a difference, being part of a team, and takes pride in their career to work in our strategic growth environment. This position is full time at our Garden Grove office location.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Answer high volume of incoming customer calls regarding product sales, billing issues, product problems, service questions, and general client concerns
· Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
· Build customer confidence by answering product and service questions; making suggestions about our product line, which could include cross-selling new products and sales promotions
· Comfortable with technical products and have the ability to educate customers to be able to use our products in a variety of scenarios
· Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s concerns full cycle (determine the cause of the issue; select and explain the best solution to solve the issue; follow up to ensure resolution with the issue)
· Strong phone presence and comfortable with making outbound calls to existing accounts with emphasis on understanding customers’ needs and discussing monthly promotions
· Ability to write professional, concise yet friendly emails in response to client’s inquiries
· Accurately enter online, phone, and fax orders into ERP system
· Knowledgeable with using Microsoft Office and computer savvy
· Coordinate and work with other departments such as Repair and Warehouse for technical or order issues
· Technical experience a plus to understand products and assist with troubleshooting issues
· May be assigned other projects and assignments under the manager’s discretion
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in customer care/service (preferably in pet/outdoor industry)
- Fluent in English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and critical thinking to solve problems
- Competency with computer skills, Microsoft Office
- Must have reliable transportation as this position is in the office full time
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EDI (such as SPS Commerce) and ERP systems
