Job Description
The Transportation Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating and providing technical assistance to XVIII Abn Corps Units for air, ground and rail movements; coordinates and monitors in-bound flow of redeploying units and equipment.
Requirements
Must Have:
Possess at least five (5) years documented experience providing senior level liaison logistics analysis support in a transportation related field.
Comprehensive knowledge of governing GCSS-Army, Vantage, regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in the areas of personal property, unit and materiel movement.
Skills in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, evaluate plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
Ability to proficiently utilize Transportation Coordinators’ Automated Information for Movement System (TC-AIMS II), Army Container Management System (ACAMS), DoD Global Distribution System, Electronic Transportation Acquisition Systems (ETA), Carrier Appointment System (CAS), Carrier Go PAX Portal, Global Freight Management System (GFM), integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES), Integrated Booking System (IBS), Integrated Mission Support for Surface Deployment and Distribution Command System (ISDDC), and the Global Asset Reporting Tool (GART). The Transportation LSA will have access to Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and other systems which identify deployment information such as dates, units, equipment and locations. The Transportation LSA will also have access to SIPR and may be required to attend/participate in classified briefings.
