The Dispensary Assistant Manager is one of the leaders responsible for the overall operation of a community-based Dispensary.- Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a talent for using existing resources to maximize revenue and profit.
- In this role, you will work alongside the Store Managers to lead the training and development of store staff.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
Lead the store team in the absence of Store Management.- Manage and maintain sales and inventory.
- Develop strategic and operational objectives for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Work with Management to train and develop all employees to ensure understanding of standards, organizational goals, and direction.
- Ensure policies and procedures are maintained and enforced.
- Uphold compliance standards related to security, inventory, and other regulations.
- Perform all duties as directed by Executive Management.
- Lead by example, showcase exemplary customer service, including but not limited to greeting, saying thank you, explaining products and policies clearly and politely, and prioritizing customers over all other shop tasks.
About You
Minimum 21+ years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the New York Cannabis Industry.
Minimum 2 years prior Retail Management experience.
At least 3 years of Customer Service experience.
A willingness to grow and develop management and operational skills.
Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency.
- High School Diploma or the equivalent.
- College Degree preferred.
- Intermediate level math skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite a must.
- Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of marijuana strains and products a must.
Compensation
- Part-time or Full-time
- $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
