What does our EMPLOYMENT PARTNERSHIP look like?
- Full and Part-time - IMMEDIATE JOB OPENINGS for Care Partners in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Locust Grove, Fredericksburg, Caroline and Stafford
- $16.00 per hour - Companion Care
- $17.00 - $18.00 per hour - Personal Care (Free Credentialing)
- Holiday pay at time and one half (7 holidays)
- Flexible schedules / encouraging work-life balance
- Paid continuing education -- minimum of 12 hours per year
- Retirement plan - company match
- Mileage reimbursement while on service $1 per mile
- 24/7 Care Management Support while on service with clients
- This is a professional position requiring casual professional attire. We do provide OPTIONAL polo shirts with our agency logo. We do not have a uniform.
Qualifications
Care Partners (Caregivers) are thoroughly screened and must meet our employment guidelines. We perform comprehensive state and federal background checks, professional and personal reference checks, drug screens, and DMV record checks (must have a clean driving record and background check).
All Care Partners (Caregivers) must complete our orientation and training before directly serving Clients. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle with the current registration and insurance are required.
High school diploma or equivalent
Skills and Responsibilities
Compassion and understanding, coaching, and encouraging clients, client advocacy–identifying needs and application of relevant resources, relational development, and healthy caregiving boundaries.
Critical thinking and problem solving, time management, care coordination, meal planning, shopping, and cooking, light housekeeping, organizing, activities and engagement, arranging appointments, record keeping and documentation, transporting clients. Personal Care -Activities of Daily Living (ADL) support -dressing, incontinence care, bathing, hygiene, eating assistance, personal grooming, vital signs, documentation, medication reminders and monitoring overall well-being.
