Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in real estate law and possess exceptional communication and organizational skills. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys by managing administrative tasks, drafting and revising documents. Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting legal documents for real estate transactions.
Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining and organizing emails, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and entered.
Communicate with attorneys and other team members on a daily basis.
Assist in the preparation of closing documents and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed for real estate transactions.
Provide general administrative support such as managing emails and updating the firm's client database.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in real estate law.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
