Job Summary: Provides direction in the learning process of the assigned JROTC students so that these students acquire basic skills and knowledge as needed in the AFJROTC Aerospace Science curriculum.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
Must meet all requirements contained in appropriate military regulations and as approved by the AFJROTC program office.
?**Former Air Force NCO and Officer candidates who have at least a bachelor's degree with extensive experience managing complex programs, and experience working with youth groups???.
If a teacher requires a Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) District-Issued Certificate for the courses being taught, they will be issued a 5-Year District-Issued Certificate, based on a DD214 showing previous military experience. No other coursework is required. To renew a ROTC District-Issued Certificate, the employee must attach documentation of all ROTC military training received during that certificate's validity period to their Renewal Application at the time of renewal. The position comes with 10-month contract at Minimum Instructor Pay (MIP).
