Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including but not limited to: reception, new patient intake, calls, scheduling, medical records, insurance verification, prior authorizations, revenue cycle, and financial navigation. Addresses general questions from patients as needed.
- Act as the point of contact for management by proactively managing communication between staff, vendors, property management, etc.
- Manage projects and conduct research to support projects and/or provide background for executive decision-making.
- Anticipate management’s needs and proactively bring together appropriate people and resources to support in addressing issues.
- Provides leadership and direction to the team, including onboarding, training, retention. Reviews performance management, delegating, and distributing job assignments, and maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
- Assess, investigate, and resolve staff and patient issues by analyzing the facts to develop timely, effective, logical solutions.
- Maintains staff schedules in an equitable and fiscally responsible manner, including PTO and sick call coverage.
- In conjunction with management, will oversee clinic operations budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and that resources are utilized efficiently. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to minimize expenses.
- Deliver effective leadership, coaching and mentoring with team members, in an effort to, identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for the development of guidelines, policies and procedures, ongoing training, and competency.
- Works with management to identify and clear obstacles, dependencies, and impediments to clinic success.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodies.
- Prepares and validates payroll.
- Uphold confidentiality on information collected and accessed as part of responsibilities. Handle highly sensitive information and documents with discretion and confidentiality.
- Drafts and edits letters, reports, and other documents, and prepares presentation materials in an appropriate and expeditious manner.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Successful candidate will have 2-5 years of experience supporting management.
- Requires knowledge of insurance plans, administrative guidelines, reporting systems
- Meet requirements for Merit Based Incentive Payment Systems (MIPS) measures.
- Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, without compromising quality of work.
- Critical thinker who operates independently while demonstrating good judgment, an ability to be resourceful and proactive
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects with limited direction, while understanding and contributing to the success of the organization
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from patients, team members, regulatory agencies, vendors, etc.
- Detail oriented, organized, process focused, problem solver, self-motivated proactive, patient focused.
- A tenacious yet flexible problem-solver with the ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel a plus, EMR experience necessary.
- Displays a high degree of maturity, honesty, trust, and integrity.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
