Cornerstone – Grants & Fundraising Specialist

Responsibilities of the Grants & Fundraising Specialist
- Lead the full lifecycle of the grant process, including identifying potential public and private funding sources, conducting thorough research, and crafting compelling proposals
- Draft, review, and complete grant applications, ensuring alignment with specific grant requirements and guidelines
- Ensure timely submission of all grant applications, maintaining adherence to all specified parameters
- Prepare and submit all necessary documents, forms, and reports required by grantors, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
- Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing funders, striving to secure and increase funding from grants and foundations
Qualifications of the Grants & Fundraising Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- At least five years of experience in grant writing experience is highly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal funding sources and the ability to locate potential sources for funding.
- Thorough understanding of grant funding policies and procedures and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Thorough understanding of effective grant writing techniques.
