Position Overview:
As an experienced Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents. Your dedication to creating a nurturing and comfortable environment will contribute to the overall well-being of those entrusted to our care.
Responsibilities:
Personal Care:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

Provide mobility assistance and transfer residents as needed.

Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.

Understands basic caregiving procedures, hygiene care, medication management, and emergency protocols.

Observant and attentive to residents' needs and changes in their condition.
Companionship:

Foster meaningful relationships with residents through engaging in conversations and companionship.

Participate in recreational activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
Health Monitoring:

Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to the nursing staff.

Assist in monitoring vital signs and overall health status.

Monitor and record vital signs, and changes in health condition, and report any concerns to the appropriate medical staff.

Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals and document accurately in residents' records.
Meal Assistance:

Support residents during meal times, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are adhered to.

Assist with feeding as necessary.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a caregiver in an assisted living or similar setting.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or relevant certification is preferred.

Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards seniors.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.

Understanding of proper lifting and caregiving techniques.

Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Ability to adapt to changing needs and situations in a fast-paced environment.

Caregivers must be reliable and punctual.

Ability to work the NOC shift of 10pm- 6:15am
