Job Summary:
We're seeking a passionate Business Development Manager (North America) to join our digital strategy team. You'll be instrumental in driving growth by identifying and securing high-value customers for our cutting-edge Industrial IoT solutions.
In this role, you will:
Lead the sales charge for our Industrial IoT portfolio in the North American market.
Partner with digital teams from our subsidiaries to deliver comprehensive solutions that align with our customers' challenges.
Leverage your expertise to articulate the technical and commercial value proposition of Industrial IoT to both technical audiences and high-level decision-makers.
To be successful, you'll have:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B sales within the industrial sector.
A strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and the transformative power of Industrial IoT solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to secure deals with key stakeholders.
The ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex sales cycles.
A deep understanding of the North American industrial landscape and its specific needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create a strategic sales plan targeting high-value customers in North American industrial sectors covered by our offering.
Identify and Qualify Leads: Proactively research, identify, and qualify potential customers for Industrial IoT solutions.
Manage the Sales Cycle: Lead potential customers through the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to proposal creation, negotiation, and contract closure.
Develop Compelling Solutions: Partner with pre-sales, engineering, and digital teams from subsidiaries to tailor solutions that address specific customer needs and challenges.
Deliver Value Propositions: Clearly communicate the technical and commercial benefits of Industrial IoT solutions to both technical audiences and high-level decision-makers.
Build Channel Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners to expand market reach.
Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate effectively with internal teams across various subsidiaries to ensure seamless delivery and customer experience.
Market watch: Continuously monitor the needs, challenges, and pain points of target customer segments to propose adaptation of our offer to the development teams.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Functional responsibility for collective deliverables of the global software development teams, noting that hierarchical reporting may be at the divisional level.
Education, Training & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
10+ years of experience in industrial automation and/or machine tool
Extensive Industry knowledge with PLC & CNC machine operation
Experience in industrial software applications (embedded systems) and high level software languages (OOP, e.g. Java, C#)
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Awareness / knowledge of cyber-security and data-management legislation and compliance methods in the US, Europe and China
Knowledge of CNC machine technology and applications
Industry Knowledge with (G-code, Fanuc, Siemens or other machine controllers)
Good understanding of control systems
Pro-active approach
Must be fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Previous experience in an industrial software development
Experience with automation and its integration with machine tools
Experience in cloud application development and data science
Customer Service or Sales Support experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience interfacing with SAP, Salesforce and other typical business
Fluency in French would be advantageous
