Parts Specialist
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Parts Specialist to join our team. As a Parts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our vehicle repair shop parts department. You will be responsible for acquiring parts for technicians in a precise, expedient way. While <stocking>, <maintaining> parts to inventory, providing exceptional service and expertise in automotive parts.
Duties:
- <Stocking> and organizing parts inventory to ensure availability for technicians and customers
- <Maintaining> accurate records of parts transactions using the Shop management system
- Assisting technicians with their parts needs, providing recommendations and guidance
- Collaborating with the both front counter people and technicians team
- Managing parts returns and exchanges in accordance with shop policies
- Participating in regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels
- Providing support in sales management activities related to parts department operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Dealership or Retail sales environment preferred
- Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software
- Strong sales skills with a focus on customer service
- Knowledge of automotive parts and their applications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Be able to lift 40 pounds regularly

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
