**Legal Assistant**
**Overview:**
We are a small estate planning law firm located in the City of Sarasota seeking a full- or part-time legal assistant to grow our legal team. Primary responsibilities include interacting with clients both on the telephone and in person, preparing documents using forms, and revising, formatting, and finalizing correspondence and estate planning documents.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform clerical tasks such as organizing and maintaining files, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.
- Assist with administrative duties including data entry, preparing legal documents, and updating case files.
- Handle document management systems efficiently to store and retrieve information as needed.
- Conduct document review to ensure accuracy and completeness of legal paperwork.
**Qualifications:**
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
