Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified Intermediate or Senior Test Development/Electrical Engineer to perform as test lead for a multi-project lab in support of the Field Maintenance Activity (FMA) team on Redstone Arsenal. This position supports a dynamic team developing Test Program Sets (TPS), Technical Data Packages (TDP), and prototypes for electrical and mechanical systems. You will have the freedom and responsibility to develop relevant test strategies, lead customer facing meetings, and work collaboratively with all the FMA teams.
Primary duties will include (but not limited to) the following:
- Develop Test Program Sets for SRU, LRU, and component level UUTs using automated test equipment.

Utilize test and evaluation knowledge, skills, and abilities to include, full-range of standard engineering test functions for research and development, production and post-production, and product improvement.

Use sound methodologies, concepts, and practices to troubleshoot complex electronic test equipment to the component level, including the use of automated test equipment.

Read and interpret complex technical materials such as manuals, drawings, schematics, and block diagrams.

Lead and manage test-specific Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Prepare, review, and gain concurrence on test plans and procedures.
You will have freedom and responsibility to develop relevant test strategies, lead customer facing meetings, and work collaboratively with all the FMA teams.
Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in design and testing of increasingly complex electrical/electronic systems, mechanical, and electromechanical systems

Must have Secret Security Clearance
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management and cross-functional team leadership and coordination

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently across a range of complex projects
Physical Requirements: Position is generally sedentary and minimal travel; up to 10% travel required
