Walton Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Rehab Team. This position will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Renovation Department and ensuring project commitments are met.
Our ideal candidate is highly self-motivated with excellent telephone communications skills and a knack for organization.
On a Typical Day, You Will:
- Assist the Renovation Director through a wide range of clerical tasks including coordinating meetings (with video conferencing details), responding to emails and messages, preparing documents, and acting as a point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and other departments.
- Attend Zoom meetings, detail commitments made by stakeholders, and follow up on action items promptly.
- Manage the Director's calendar and Rehab Department calendar: tracking meetings, employee vacations, client events, and project milestones.
- Maintain the departments' digital filing system and document organization.
- Assist project teams with key operational processes as workload permits.
- On occasion: you may also: markup building plans in Bluebeam, update MS Project progress, visit jobsites, assist estimating with obtaining bids, or perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience, preferably with a Construction, Architectural or Engineering firm.
- Expertise in Excel, out look, and MS Teams
- Ability to read construction drawings is a plus. Experience with Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam is not required but highly desired.
- Friendly communication style with excellent follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Proactive with a willingness to jump in and get things done.
- Kind, positive, and eager to grow and learn with a team.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
